Bosco Isabella
The Literary Post In the heart of Val d'Orcia, the biggest literary event outside the big cities! Since 2019, La Posta Letteraria has been one of the most anticipated cultural events on the Tuscan and national scene. A festival that celebrates the written and oral word with a multidisciplinary program that weaves literature, journalism, philosophy, science and current events through meetings, dialogues and debates among authors, intellectuals and the public. The review takes place in Radicofani's Bosco Isabella, an early 20th-century romantic-esoteric garden, formerly cataloged as a Monumental Garden, which offers a unique setting for the conversations. An evocative place where nature and history come together, transforming each encounter into an immersive experience. Over the years, La Posta Letteraria has hosted some of the most influential voices in culture, including Corrado Augias, Dacia Maraini, Nicola Gratteri, Marco Damilano, Domenico Starnone, Antonio Padellaro, Michele Serra, Sergio Staino, Alberto Asor Rosa, Rino Rappuoli, and Lisa Ginzburg. The quality of the interventions and the ability to attract an increasingly wide audience have made the festival a point of reference for readers, authors and fans, who fill the streets of Radicofani on the first weekend of July. Since 2024, Literary Post OFF, a series of meetings and in-depth discussions dedicated to great figures in journalism and literature, designed to keep the festival's focus alive throughout the year, has been born. Admission is free, an unmissable opportunity to experience culture and be captivated by the timeless landscape of the Val d'Orcia.
