For more than 40 years, ARPAT has been organizing beekeeping courses taught by knowledgeable and experienced teachers to provide the knowledge needed to start raising bees independently and with awareness.
To whom it is addressed
Everyone interested in beekeeping, from newcomers to those who already own bees, from beekeepers who wish to implement their knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the field to those who are simply passionate about or intrigued by the world of bees and honey.
No prior skills or certifications are required; a certificate of participation is issued at the end of the course.

Course Objectives.
The course provides basics for approaching beekeeping, includes online theory lessons and hands-on meetings in apiaries. Included in the cost of the course is the annual ARPAT membership fee, which allows you to take advantage of assistance from our technicians, receive communications and updates on the subject, and participate in other association courses and other events. Also included in the course fee is a complimentary one-year subscription to an industry magazine.
Topics covered range from bee biology to breeding, from recognition of the most common honeys to basic production techniques, from recognition and management of bee diseases to current regulations.
